AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer:

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer: Continuous Delivery and Automation
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer: Monitoring, Metrics, and Logging
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer: High Availability and Elasticity
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer: Security, Governance, and Validation

6+ Years of overall IT experience

Must have prior Cloud experience with Google or Openstack-- will be supporting the migration efforts of existing applications into the Cloud.

Proven, working experience and knowledge in various Build/Package/Deploy solutions using CI tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, etc.

Experience administering repository services like git, Stash/Bitucket, Nexus, DTR for an Agile development methodology

System design (multi tier, micro services, cloud services)

Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes

Automation experience -- Work with REST APIs

Scripting experience - preferably Python, Ruby or bash

Configuration management experience using solutions like: Ansible , Puppet, or Chef

Participate in on-call rotations.

 

Additional skills:

Knowledge of MySQL, Java/J2EE, JavaScript.

Experience providing OS support in Linux environment

Knowledge working with Opensource technologies like NodeJs, Apache webserver, Kafka, MySQL

Working experience with log/application monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Kibana, etc.
